A fog-light symbol usually indicates that a lighting function is selected. Vehicles with both front and rear fog lamps can use different symbols for each. A normal status light should not be confused with a lamp-failure warning.
Use the lighting diagram in your owner's manual to identify the symbol. Choose the appropriate setting for visibility, and switch off fog lamps when they are no longer needed.
If the indicator changes but the exterior lamps do not respond, note whether the problem affects the front, rear, or both. Contact Lakeland Transmission & Auto with those details rather than assuming the dashboard symbol itself is faulty.
